WD2000: Converter Dialog Box Appears When You Copy Image from Word for Mac (220448)

When you copy an image from a Word 4.0-5.1 for Macintosh (.mcw) file and paste the image into a Word 2000 document, the following message may appear:
This feature is not currently installed. Would you like to install it now?
When you click Yes, the converter is installed, and the image is displayed as expected. However, every time you click the image, the message reappears, even though the image already appears on the new document.
If you delete the image, and then click Edit so that the Undo Clear command appears, the message reappears.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
