WD2000: Spelling of AutoSignature Checked After Upgrading Office 97 (220431)

When you create a new e-mail message in Microsoft Outlook 2000 and all of the following conditions are true: - You are using Word as your e-mail editor.
- Always check spelling before sending is turned on (in Outlook, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click to select the Spelling tab).
- You have an AutoSignature turned on.
- You have upgraded to Office 2000 from Office 97.
the spelling of your signature is checked.
WORKAROUND
Use one of the following methods to work around this problem:
Method 1: Add the AutoSignature Name to Your Custom Dictionary
To add the AutoSignature name to your custom dictionary:
- Place your insertion point within the name that is flagged as misspelled.
- On the Tools menu, click Spelling and Grammar.
- Click Add.
- Click Close.
Method 2: Turn off "Always check spelling before sending"
To turn off Always check spelling before sending:
- In Microsoft Outlook, on the Tools menu, click Options.
- On the Spelling tab, click to clear the Always check spelling before sending check box.
