FP2000: Cannot Create a Table Greater Than 25 Rows by 25 Columns (220117)

SYMPTOMS

When you insert a table with the Insert Table dialog box (on the Table menu, point to Insert, and click Table), you can only insert a table as large as 25 columns and 25 rows.

If you try to type a number greater than 25 in either the Rows or Columns box, the following message appears:
Please enter an integer between 1 and 25.

CAUSE

The Insert Table dialog box is designed to allow only up to 25 rows and 25 columns.

RESOLUTION

If you must create a table with more than 25 rows or 25 columns, use the Insert Table button on the Standard toolbar.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
