FP2000: Cannot Move Absolutely Positioned Text in Selected Paragraph (220090)

SYMPTOMS

When you select an entire paragraph in which some text is absolutely positioned, move handles do not appear around the absolutely positioned text.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, click elsewhere on the page to deselect the paragraph, and then highlight to select only the absolutely positioned text.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
