FP2000: FrontPage Changes Width to Default Number in Search Form Properties (220078)

SYMPTOMS

If you type a number that is less than 3 in the Width in characters box in the Search Form Properties dialog box, the number defaults to 3. If you type a number greater than 200 in the Width in characters box, the number defaults to 200.

CAUSE

The number in the Width in characters box must be between 3 and 200.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, type a number between 3 and 200 in the Width in characters box.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
