Radio Toolbar Is Not Displayed in New Instance of Internet Explorer (220045)

SYMPTOMS

After you enable the Radio toolbar in Internet Explorer, it may not be enabled when you start a new instance of Internet Explorer or when you return to a windowed view from full-screen view.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you have not selected the "Always show Internet Explorer Radio bar" option. This option is not selected by default.

RESOLUTION

Enable the "Always show Internet Explorer Radio bar" option:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. In the Multimedia section, click to select the Always show Internet Explorer Radio bar check box.
  4. Click OK.
