FP2000: Selection in Normal View Is Not Preserved When You Switch to HTML View (220026)

When you switch to HTML view, your selection from Normal view is not preserved.
CAUSE
Front Page does not preserve the selection between HTML and Normal views, unless you make a change to the page.
RESOLUTION
If you change the text in Normal view (such as adding and removing a space before the text), select it, and then click the HTML tab, your selection is preserved.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
