SYMPTOMS

When you add Active Server Pages (ASP) code inside a <style> tag, the ASP code may be removed or changed.

If you want to place ASP code inside a style tag, use the HTML Markup component to insert the code into your page. To do this, follow these steps:

Open your page in FrontPage.
On the Insert menu, point to Advanced, and click HTML.
In the HTML Markup dialog box, type the code that you want to insert, and then click OK.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
