FP2000: Task Modification Fields Are Not Changed Until You Mark Task as Completed (219926)

SYMPTOMS

When you modify a task in FrontPage, the Modified By and Modified Date fields are not updated, and the Modified By field has the value [Has not been modified].

CAUSE

The Modified By and Modified Date fields refer to the associated page, not the task itself.

RESOLUTION

These fields are updated when you complete the task. To mark a task as completed, in Task view, right-click the task that you want to complete and click Mark as Completed on the shortcut menu.
