FP2000: Themed Pages from Converted Subfolder Not Showing Correct Theme (219911)

SYMPTOMS

When you convert a themed subweb into a subfolder of another web with a different theme, the Web pages located in the subfolder appear to acquire the same theme as the root web; however, these Web pages retain their original theme when you view them in your Web browser.

CAUSE

FrontPage does not dynamically change the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) for themes in converted subfolders.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, click Recalculate Hyperlinks on the Tools menu.

If you would like to only change the theme of a few pages in the converted subfolder, you can open individual pages and save them.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
