FP2000: Undo Frames Page HTML Edit Removes All Frames Content (219849)

SYMPTOMS

When you click Undo Edit HTML on the Edit menu after you have added some content in the frames page HTML view, you may lose all of your pages in the frames page.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when you create a frames page and click the New Page button in each of the frames, and then edit the HTML.

The last command performed was the New Page command, and this is the action that is reset, even though the command says Undo Edit HTML.

RESOLUTION

To use the Undo Edit HTML command in this scenario, you must remain in frames page HTML.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
