FP2000: Wipe Effect No Longer Functions with Relatively Positioned DIV Tags (219848)

SYMPTOMS

When you change the position of the DIV tags created by a Dynamic HTML effect to anything other than absolute, your Dynamic HTML effect no longer functions.

CAUSE

Dynamic HTML effects only function if the DIV tags are absolutely positioned.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, change the positioning on the DIV tags to absolute. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. If you cannot see the begin and end DIV tags in Normal view, click Reveal Tags on the View menu.
  2. Double-click <DIV> to select the DIV tags.
  3. On the Format menu, click Position.
  4. Click Absolute, and then click OK.
