When you publish a server-based web to a disk-based web, your Index.html file is changed to Index.htm.

- On the File menu, click Open Web.
- Navigate to the disk-based web, and click Open.
- In the Views panel, click Folders.
- Right-click Index.htm, and click Rename.
- Type Index.html for the name of the page, and press ENTER.
- When asked whether you want to change the name, click Yes.
- A dialog box similar to the following may appear:
There are xx pages that have hyperlinks to this page.
Do you want to update these pages so that the
hyperlinks will not be broken?
- Click Yes.
