FP2000: Parent-Level Navigation Bars on Home Page Are Not Visible (219710)

SYMPTOMS

When you place a page at Top level in Navigation view and configure the Navigation Bar to show Parent level and Home page on the home page (Index.htm or Default.htm) or a Top level page, the Navigation Bar button is blank, and a Home page Navigation Bar button appears in Normal and Preview views. However, neither item appears when you preview the page in your Web browser.

RESOLUTION

In the Navigation Bar Properties dialog box, click Top level, and then click to select the Home page check box. The top level pages within the Navigation Bar are now visible in the browser.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
