FP2000: Server Errors When You Use VBA to Open or Publish a Web to Different NTLM Domain (219210)

When you use Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to publish (vtiPublishWeb) or open (vtiOpenWebWithPassword) a remote Web site, you may experience server errors or logon failures.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when you are logged on to a domain with NTLM authentication (Microsoft Windows NT Challenge/Response authentication), and you try to open or publish to a server on another Windows NT domain by using NTLM authentication.
RESOLUTION
You must manually open or publish the web to the remote server. There is no way to access a server on a different domain by using VBA.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
