Files Opened Locally on SBS Will Not Be Listed on Manage Open Files Page (217924)

SUMMARY

The Manage Open Files page in the Small Business Server (SBS) console will only show files that were opened by using a network share. Files that are opened locally on the server will not be listed.

The same files can be viewed from a command prompt using the net files command.

  2. Select Shared Folders.
  3. Select Managing Shared Folders.
  4. Click the Troubleshooting Shared Folders topic.
  5. Select "Manage Open Files" does not display all open files.
