After installing Microsoft Outlook on a system running Windows 98, you may receive the following error message when starting Outlook:
Outlook cause an invalid stack fault in Module Unknown at address CAUSE
When you installed Outlook, you chose to replace newer versions of existing files. This problem occurs when Outlook replaces one or more files required by Windows 98.
RESOLUTION
Reinstall Windows 98. This updates the required files.
