SYMPTOMS

After you configure Outlook Express 5 with an account and verify the contacts in the Windows Address Book (WAB), the address book in Microsoft Phone may appear to be empty.

RESOLUTION

Restart the computer. After you computer restarts, the address book entries in Microsoft Phone should be visible.

MORE INFORMATION

This behavior occurs only if the Microsoft Phone software is installed and configured (with address book entries) before Outlook Express 5 is installed and configured.
