Cannot Start Calculator Minimized from the Startup Folder (217003)

SYMPTOMS

If you create a shortcut to Calculator (Calc.exe) in the Startup folder and select Minimized in the shortcut's Run box, Calculator starts in a normal window.

RESOLUTION

To start Calculator minimized from the Startup folder, replace the Windows 2000 version of the Calc.exe file in the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder with the version of the Calc.exe file from Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.
