This article describes the process for publishing Microsoft Office 2000 documents to an Office 2000 Extended or Microsoft FrontPage 2000 Extended Web Server computer.

To publish an Office Document to an Office or FrontPage Extended Web server, perform the following steps:

  1. With the documents open in the application of your choice, click Save As Web Page on the File Menu.
  2. In the Save As dialog box, click the Web Folders icon.
  3. Browse to the Web folder in which you want to publish this document.
  4. Double-click the Web folder and make sure the name of your document is correct in the File Name field of the Save As dialog box.
  5. Click Save. You will see a "Transferring File" dialog box appear, transferring your document to the Web Server.

After the transfer is complete, your document will be viewable on the Internet or intranet server to which you published it.
