When you use Microsoft Arthur's Brainteasers, Math Carnival, or Reading Roundup on a Microsoft Windows 98-based computer, the program may not play sounds correctly and you may experience the following symptoms: - Words are dropped.
- Sentences are incomplete.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, disable audio hardware acceleration. To do this, follow these steps: - Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Multimedia.
- On the Audio tab, click Advanced Properties under Playback.
- On the Performance tab, move the Hardware acceleration slider all the way to the left (the None setting).
- Click OK, click OK again, and then close Control Panel.
