Error Occurs Saving Page with Include in Shared Border (216452)

On Windows servers, when you save a page that has shared borders with an
include in a Table of Contents on the page or a Form with Validation, the
following error occurs:
An unexpected error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files. Authors
- if authoring against a web server, please contact the WebMaster for this
server's site. WebMaster - please see the server's system log for more
details.
In the event viewer, the following errors appear:
Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions:
Error #80002 Message: System exception: access violation.
Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions:
(OS Error #-1073741819 Message: exception occurred at 0x67f09125)
On UNIX servers, the following errors occur when you save the page:
The server could not complete your request. Contact your Internet service
provider or web server administrator to make sure the server has the
FrontPage Server Extensions installed. For more specific information,
click Details.
Details shows: 500 Internal Server Error
Internal Server Error Premature end of script headers
The UNIX server reports the following in its error log:

CAUSE
This problem occurs because FrontPage will occasionally double-parse a
document. In these cases, the bots persist between the parses so they can
communicate
the values found in the first parse to the second. Include bots need to
identify what their parent document is. Shared borders act just like
include
bots, and act as parent documents. However, shared border documents are
temporary and do not persist between parses.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, upgrade to the FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, delete the page in the Web that has
the shared border with the include in either the Table of Contents or Form
with Validation, and then recalculate hyperlinks.
You can put the Table of Contents or Form with Validation on a
page that does not have a shared border with an include in it or remove
the include from the shared borders.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FrontPage 98 for
Windows.
