The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
This article was previously published under Q216426 SYMPTOMS
When you use the Microsoft Performance Monitor (PerfMon) tool to view and track version-specific performance data on a computer using the Microsoft Gateway Service for NetWare (GSNW) and the Microsoft Client Service for NetWare (CNSN) to communicate with multiple NetWare servers, the captured values are not segregated by the NetWare version number.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000.
MORE INFORMATION
The PerfMon tool recognizes performance data only for activity that occurs on the computer running PerfMon. The performance counters cannot differentiate between the various versions of operating systems that are communicating with the computer running PerfMon.
