Error Messages installing AppleTalk Components (216284)

You cannot install AppleTalk components if you start your computer using the "Safe Mode with Networking" startup option.
CAUSE
Because of AppleTalk's reliance on higher-level services, you cannot install AppleTalk components in Safe mode.
RESOLUTION
Start your computer normally before installing AppleTalk components.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000.
