This article was previously published under Q216088

SYMPTOMS

After installing Microsoft Outlook with the "Integrated File Management" system you may be missing the Other Shortcuts group from your Outlook Bar.

RESOLUTION

Start Outlook with the /resetoutlookbar command line switch.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

The Integrated File Management system allows you to display and manipulate system files from within Outlook using an Other Shortcuts group, on your Outlook Bar. If that group is not visible after installing the Integrated File Management system, use the following steps to correct the problem:
  1. Quit Outlook.
  2. Click Start and click Run.
  3. In the Open window, type Outlook /resetoutlookbar

    and click OK.
This procedure will reset your Outlook Bar so that you will be able to access the Other Shortcuts group with a normal startup of Outlook.

Note: The steps above will remove any customized shortcuts in the Outlook Bar you might have made. If you choose to uninstall Integrated File Management, simply delete the Other Shortcuts group from the Outlook Bar.
