Microsoft Message Queuing setup fails with the error "Internal DS Error" 0xc00e0043 (214547)

SYMPTOMS

When you are installing Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ), the setup stops and the following error message is displayed:
"Internal DS Error" 0xc00e0043
This is a generic Message Queuing driven error message that indicates that a connection with the Primary Site Controller (PSC) cannot be made. It is similar to the 0xc00e0013 error, but occurs at a different point in the setup process, and is more difficult to troubleshoot.

CAUSE

This error message occurs because there is a previous installation of Message Queuing components on the computer, and these components cause a conflict.

RESOLUTION
