PRB: Transaction Server Add-in May Not Appear in the Visual Basic Add-Ins Menu (214416)

Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS) ships with an add-in for Visual Basic versions 5.0 and later and is installed with the development version of MTS. However, this add-in may not appear in the Microsoft Visual Basic (VB) Integrated Development Environment (IDE) Add-Ins menu.
CAUSE
This occurs when you do not install the MTS development environment with MTS.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, install the MTS development version. To do this, make sure that you select Transaction Server Development for Transaction Server during the Microsoft Windows NT Option Pack installation.
If you have the development environment installed, and the add-in still does not appear, follow these steps:
- At a command prompt, navigate to the \MTS folder on your computer. The default location is C:\Program Files\MTS.
- Type the following command:

The MTS add-in allows MTS to refresh its catalog with the latest Globally Unique Identifiers (GUIDs) that are associated with your components.
