  • Microsoft Outlook 2000

This article was previously published under Q212936

SYMPTOMS

Moving a message from an IMAP Inbox folder to a personal folders file (.pst) folder, strips off the message's Internet Account property.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

The Internet Account property identifies the account though which an e-mail message was received. This can be useful if you have more than one account in your Outlook profile.

To See the Internet Account Property for Messages in the Inbox:

  1. Right-click a column header in the Inbox.
  2. From the shortcut menu, click Field Chooser.
  3. In the All Mail Fields list, click Internet Account and drag it to a position in the column header.
