OL2000: (CW) Duplicate Rules After Updating Inbox Assistant to Rules Wizard (212931)

SYMPTOMS

After upgrading to Outlook 2000, you find that rules created with the Inbox Assistant using a previous version of Outlook are duplicated.

RESOLUTION

Delete the duplicate rules.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
