Network Print Job Is Printed After Being Canceled (212837)

SYMPTOMS

After you click Cancel in the Now Printing dialog box of a network print job, or you cancel the print job from the print queue, the print job may still be partially printed. After you attempt to cancel the print job from the queue, the print job may still show as spooling. The completion of at least part of the print job may be confirmed by a message similar to:

Print job number on queue \\queue_name has finished printing. Size of job is xxx bytes.

MORE INFORMATION

If you print a document and then decide to cancel the print job, you must physically remove any portion of the print job that finished from the printer.
