DMM: "Mailpiece Design Options" Shortcut Keys Don't Function Correctly (212728)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the shortcut keys on the Delivery Address tab or the Return Address tab in the Mailpiece Design options, some shortcut keys may not function and others may change the mailpiece design and preview.

For example, on the Delivery Address tab, ALT+L should move the insertion point to the From left box. Instead, ALT+L changes the mailpiece design and preview to Labels.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the shortcut keys from the Media tab are still active.

WORKAROUND

Use the mouse to move the insertion point to the box or control that you want.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
