SUMMARY

When you set up a customer's billing information, the available payment terms do not include an option for C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery). This payment term is used frequently for any of the following reasons:
  • The customer's account is delinquent
  • The customer has not yet set up an account
  • The customer has been denied an account

To work around this issue, set up the customer's billing information to use the Due on Receipt payment term. To do this, use the appropriate method for your version of Microsoft Money.

Money 2000 and Later

  1. On the Money navigation bar, click Business.
  2. Click Open or edit the customer list.
  3. Select the customer for which you want to change the billing information, and then click Go to Customer.
  4. In the left pane, click View billing details.
  5. In the Payment Terms box, click Due on Receipt.
  6. Click Done.

Money 99 Personal & Business

  1. On the Money navigation bar, click Business.
  2. In the left pane, click Customers.
  3. Select the customer for which you want to change the billing information, and then click Go to Customer.
  4. In the left pane, click Billing Information.
  5. In the Payment Terms box, click Due on Receipt.
  6. Click Done.
