WD2000: DocErr: WordPerfect Help Topic About Indents Is Incomplete, Truncated (212249)

SYMPTOMS

When you press F4 to create an indent (as you do in WordPerfect), the Help for WordPerfect Users dialog box containing the Help information for creating an indent in Microsoft Word is truncated and incomplete.

NOTE: Help for WordPerfect Users must be turned on to see this problem. To turn on Help for WordPerfect Users, follow these steps:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. On the General tab, select the Help for WordPerfect users check box.
  3. Click OK.
This problem also occurs when you click WordPerfect Help on the Help menu, and then click to select Indent in the Command keys list.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem and view information about creating an indent in Microsoft Word, click Microsoft Word Help on the Help menu, type indent paragraphs in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view Indent paragraphs.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
