XL2000: Cannot Drag Drawing Objects Between Worksheets (212018)

You cannot use the ALT key to drag a drawing object or an AutoShape from one worksheet to another in the same workbook.
NOTE: In contrast, you can drag a selection of cells from one worksheet to another.
WORKAROUND
To move a drawing object or an AutoShape from one worksheet to another in
the same workbook, use either of the following methods.
Method 1: Use a Cut and Paste Operation- Select the drawing object or AutoShape.
- On the Edit menu, click Cut.
- Click the tab for the worksheet on which you want to place the object.
- On the Edit menu, click Paste.
Method 2: Arrange the Worksheet in Two Windows- On the Window menu, click New Window.
A new window with a copy of the workbook appears. For example, if the
active workbook in step 1 is called Book1.xls, Excel creates
two windows called Book1.xls:1 and Book1.xls:2. - On the Window menu, click Arrange.
- In the Arrange Windows dialog box, click Tiled, and then click OK.
- In the second window, click the tab of the worksheet on which you want to place the drawing object.
- Activate the first window.
- In the first window, hold down the ALT key and drag the drawing
object to the second window. Release the ALT key.
