You experience one of the following symptoms:
Case 1
When you attempt to insert a comment at the beginning of a paragraph, the comment is inserted after the first word of the paragraph.
Case 2
When you attempt to insert a comment at the beginning of a sentence within a paragraph, the comment is inserted after the first word of the sentence.
Case 3
When you attempt to insert a comment on a blank line,
- The comment is inserted after the first word of the following sentence or paragraph.
-or- - The comment is inserted at the end of the preceding paragraph that contains text.
WORKAROUND
Place the insertion point within or at the end of a paragraph that contains text, and then insert the comment.
