Ensure that no windows are minimized before you run the macro or modify the
macro code so that it sets all windows to the normal state before it tiles
the windows.
You can run the following example macro without getting an error message; however, the macro does not tile windows if any open window in the program is minimized:
Sub test()
Application.Windows.Arrange ArrangeStyle:=xlArrangeStyleTiled
End Sub
To tile the windows, use the following macro:
Sub test()
For Each x in Workbooks
x.Activate
ActiveWindow.WindowState=xlNormal
Next x
Application.Windows.Arrange ArrangeStyle:=xlArrangeStyleTiled
End Sub
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. REFERENCESFor more information about tiling windows, in the Visual Basic Editor, click Microsoft Visual Basic Help on the Help menu, type arrange method in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topic.
