WD2000: Versions Lost When Using 'Send To' Mail Recipient (211864)

When you point to Send To on the File menu and click Mail Recipient (as Attachment) to send a Word document containing versions, all previously saved versions of the document are lost in the mailed document.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, insert the Word document into a mail message as an attachment. Do not use the Send To command on the File menu in Word.
In Microsoft Outlook 2000, follow these steps:
- On the File menu, point to New and then click Mail Message.
- In the message area, click File on the Insert menu.
- Click the Word document or file you want to send as an attachment, and then click Insert.
Your Word document or file now appears as an icon (attachment) in your mail message.
