XL2000: User-Defined Functions Are Unexpectedly Calculated More Than Once (211747)

In Microsoft Excel 2000, when you use the Function Wizard to enter a formula containing a user-defined function in a cell, the formula may be calculated more than once.
CAUSE
A user-defined function is calculated multiple times if the following conditions are true:
- The user-defined function is created in Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications.
-and-
- The user-defined function is inserted into the spreadsheet with
the Function Wizard.
NOTE: This behavior does not occur if the user-defined function is
entered directly into a cell in a worksheet.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, do not use the Function Wizard to insert the
custom function.
