Modify the Format
To modify the format of automatic page numbers, follow these steps: - On the Format menu, click Style.
- In the List box, click All styles.
- In the Styles box, click Page Number, and then click Modify.
- Click Format, and then click Font on the shortcut menu.
- Click the Font tab, and then select the font, style, size, and effect (if any) that you want.
- Click OK.
NOTE: If you want to use the formatting of the Page Number style as the default for newly created documents, click to select the Add to template check box in the lower-left corner of the Modify Style dialog box. - Click OK, and then click Close in the Style dialog box.
