In Microsoft Word 2000, when you try to open a TeamLinks document that is already opened by another user, you may receive the following error message:
Filename. The object is already reserved by username. You may open the file, but you cannot save changes back to the original.
When you click OK, the document does not open.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because Word does not open a TeamLinks document as read-only if the document is reserved by another user.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Word 2000.
