NEC Versa Laptop Hangs Starting Windows (211063)

Your NEC Versa 6230 computer may stop responding (hang) when you are starting Windows, or shortly after you insert a PCMCIA card in the computer.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true:
- You have a 3Com 3C574-TX PCMCIA network adapter.
- The network adapter is inserted in the lower PCMCIA slot.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, insert the 3Com 3C574-TX PCMCIA network adapter in the upper PCMCIA slot on your laptop computer.
