When you press ALT+P to try to quit an active search while using the search Find People tool, the search may continue, and your computer may generate a beep sound.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because the ALT+P key combination does not stop a search in progress.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, click Stop to halt a search in progress.
