Mail Box Is Blank in Internet Explorer Properties (211027)

When you view the Mail box on the Programs tab of Internet Explorer properties, it may be blank.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if you uninstall Microsoft Outlook 97. When you do so, the following registry key may be deleted:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\MailSTATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
