XL2000: "Too Many Line Continuations" Error When Recording a Macro (210757)

When you record a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications macro, you receive the following error message:
Too many line continuations.
When you click OK, the VBA Macro Recorder quits.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
- You create a PivotTable that contains drop-down lists.
-and-
- You start to record a macro.
-and-
- You manipulate the items in the drop-down list multiple times during the recording of the macro.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
