WD2000: Line Spacing Changes When You Save a File As HTML (210146)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Word 2000

This article was previously published under Q210146

SYMPTOMS

When you create a bulleted list in Microsoft Word 2000, the line spacing between items in the bulleted list is greater than in a non-bulleted list. When the document is saved as a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) file, the spacing in the bulleted and non-bulleted lists is identical. The behavior of this spacing functionality should remain consistent between Word and HTML documents.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
