The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Word 2000

This article was previously published under Q210116

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Word 2000, when you send a WordMail message containing one of the following picture files to a Eudora 3.0 client on a computer that does not have Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or later installed, the image file cannot be viewed:
  • ADI
  • CDR
  • DRW
  • WPG
  • WMF
  • PICT
However, both BMP and TIFF files can be viewed successfully.

Eudora automatically uses Internet Explorer 3.0 or later (if it is installed) to render Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) in e-mail messages.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
