SUMMARY
In Microsoft Windows NT or Microsoft Windows 2000, you can use the
Win32 application programming interface (API) to retrieve network
information about the currently running computer, such as the user name, workgroup, domain, and computer name. In Microsoft Windows 95/98, you can use Visual Basic for Applications code to retrieve similar information.
