ACC2000: Total Row Is Not Reset When Switching from Crosstab to Make-Table Query (209630)

SYMPTOMS
When you are creating a query and you select Crosstab as the query type, by default, all the columns in the query design grid have Group By in the Total row. If you then change the query type to Make-Table, the columns still have Group By in the Total row.
CAUSE
When you change the query type, Microsoft Access removes the rows that
are not allowed but displays the rows that are required and the rows that
are optional. Because Make-Table queries can include totals, the Total row remains the same.
