SYMPTOMS
When you click Options on the Tools menu, some of the option items are not visible.
CAUSE
In Control Panel, in the Display Properties dialog box under the Appearance tab, in Windows 95 or later, the Window Text color has been set to the same color as the 3D Objects in the Message Box, which is the color Microsoft Access uses for the background color in the Options dialog box.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, follow these steps:
- On the taskbar, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Display icon.
- Click the Appearance tab.
- Select 3D Objects in the Item box.
- Select a different color for the Item Color setting.
- Click OK.
