SUMMARY

Windows 2000 Professional allows you to import Remote Access Service (RAS) phonebook files (.pbk) from Windows NT 4.0. If you import multiple phonebooks, you can create multiple connections with the same name in the Network and Dial-Up Connections folder. Windows NT 4.0 does not identify which connection came from which phonebook.

This is by design to comply with Zero Administration Windows (ZAW) standards, which require parsing of multiple phonebooks. RAS connections are not user specific.
